"Work Visa" - Z Visa - is issued to those who are hired by Chinese companies to work or teach in China, and their accompanying family members (single entry only, no multiple entries).

Document Checklist: Send the following items to us in your application.

1. Your ORIGINAL Passport: It must have 6 months validity and at least two blank visa pages remaining
2. The ORIGINAL of your Canadian PR Card or Valid Visa for Canada if you are not holding a Canadian passport
3. Visa Application Form: Download Form2011A, Complete Online, print and sign it, one form per applicant. ***Please click her for Instructions on how to fill out the visa application form. Incomplete visa application forms may result in visa refusal and/or delay
4. Supplementary Visa Application Form: Download Form2011B, Complete Online
5. Colored Photo: One 33mmx48mm passport style colored photo for each application
6. Service Order Form: Download, Complete Online and print it, one form per shipping address
7. An ORIGINAL and a copy of "Alien Employment Licence of the People's Republic of China" issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of P.R.C. or an ORIGINAL and a copy of "Foreign Expert Work Permit" issued by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of the P.R. 8. Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit issued by the relevant authority of the Chinese government (either Provincial Foreign Affairs Office or Economic & Trade Office). Click here for a Sample Invitation Letter
9. An ORIGINAL and a copy of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners if you will work in China for more than six months
10. The accompany spouse and children are required to submit the visa confirmation letter from the relevant authority in China as well as the original and a copy of documents verifying their relationship with the applicant (such as Marriage Certificate or Birth Certificate)
