STUDENT VISA

"Student Visa" - X Visa - is issued to applicants who go to China for the purpose of study, advanced studies or intern practice for a period of more than six months.

Document Checklist: Send the following items to us in your application.

  1. Your ORIGINAL Passport: It must have 6 months validity and at least two blank visa pages remaining
  2. The ORIGINAL of your Canadian PR Card or Valid Visa for Canada if you are not holding a Canadian passport
  3. Visa Application Form: Download Form2011A, Complete Online, print and sign it, one form per applicant. ***Please click here for Instructions on how to fill out the visa application form. Incomplete visa application forms may result in visa refusal and/or delay.
  4. Supplementary Visa Application Form: Download Form2011B, Complete Online. 
  5. Colored Photo: One 33mmx48cm passport style colored photo for each application
  6. Service Order Form: Download, Complete Online and print it, one form per shipping address
  7. An ORIGINAL and a copy of the "Acceptance Letter" from the university
  8. An ORIGINAL and a copy of "Visa Application Form for International Student" (JW-202 or JW-201) issued by the Ministry of Education of China
  9. An ORIGINAL and a copy of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners
  10. Study visa is valid for 3 months for single entry, and no duration of stay is specified.  Applicants must apply for residence permit from a local public security bureau within 30 days after entering China.
  11. The applicants are generally issued "Business Visa" if the duration of study is less than 180 days.
